Automotive Vignette No.7

Straight from the backyard, not two blocks from the office.

A late sixties/early seventies Citroën DS 21 convertible,

and then around the corner...

 ...a 1974-5 Bricklin SV-1.

The Citroen is definitely a keeper! Not sure about a Bricklin though, it doesn't age well.

I'm torn.

The DS is pretty cool and you're not going to run into another one at the local car show, but that's the rub, it's a bit too far out for parts and the manual of operation is quirky, to be generous.

The Bricklin is either AMC or Ford powered and doesn't require much maintenance anyway and even when it does, it's a snap for guys like me who grew up with front-engined, V8 cars.

At this point, I have all the old/project cars that I can just barely keep up with.
