It's because these same "True Blue" assholes presume it's OK to stick their noses into everyone else's business and make it their own. It's who they are.

The Lib-Idiots simply can't resist an urge to tell someone else, anyone else, what the fuck to do, insisting that those who would exercise some sort of reasonable discourse on the matter at hand, regardless of the subject, are, "traitors to the cause," as they put it, or some other rot.

Seriously, I don't have much of a dog in this fight, as I generally view the current issue of "politics" in this country as something that is layered with conflated platitudes and philosophy, if the word could actually be used in that context.
