I could write a book on the subject of public housing.
All of it would be bad.
Not the buildings, necessarily, but the reasons for doing it in the first place have never been more than, literally, throwing a bunch of taxpayer money behind a pipe-dream of a feel-good issue. Self-congratulatory horseshit.
The same has happened to Pruitt-Igoe.
And Wayne Miner Court.
And most others of the type, regardless of country or ethnicity.
"Public housing," has been an abysmal failure for one reason only, and that should be evident to anyone who cares to pay attention to the circumstances of the situation.
