Outrageous claims of how energy efficient LEED certified buildings are has long been a source of contempt for me.
I find it interesting that a real scientist, with relevant and pertinent knowledge, has been the one with the stones to drag this bullshit fraud out into the sunlight for its due cleansing.
I predict, however, that it's something that will be settled out of court, and that the USBGC will not have to admit any guilt, nor amend, in any meaningful way, their claims to their points-based rating system.
I'll admit it, I sincerely hope they burn over the whole debacle.

What an incredible parasitic money-sucking grotesquerie and shake-down racket, that "green-building" operation/organization. Frauds, the whole thing.
I also wonder how much, if any effect, a donation to building in Haiti would have, compared to "catalyzing the unrivaled pa$$ion, experti$e and genero$ity of the green building movement" into their own bank account.
Yeah, it's a con-game.
They're supposed to be a dot-ORG, but it's clear to me, and has been for more than ten years, that their influence has risen dramatically, as has their bank account, all on the back of their mandatory-imposition-of-voluntary-rules for buildings, so that everyone can circle-jerk for Mother Gaia.
It's the Al Gore equivalent of a wannabe building code, piggy-backing as much stuff as they can get the gullible to accept.
They will get a pass on this, just you wait and see. A minor slap on the wrist, revision of their claims and "advertising verbiage," and maybe some court costs.
They're too well connected to the Liberal-Think-Tank Leftists to get completely hung out on a line to dry.
Yet another example of an NGO that produces NOTHING, yet gets to wring money out of a rigged system, claiming at the end that they're the Messiah, here to save all with their wonderful rules for saving Gaia.
