It seems that the Beast has awoken.

Silly me. I thought that the Kelo ruling was going to go down with nary a word said.

Boy was I wrong. And glad too.

It seems that regular folks are on the streets talking about the SCOTUS' latest attrocity.

Good. The more the better.

We the People need to get worked up about this. We need to dissect the issue here. We need to speak our minds, make threats. We need this dialogue now, more than ever. The Geek is right, Congress needs to quit with the petty crap, can't they see that Rome IS burning?

WE ARE AT A TIPPING POINT. WE HAVE LITTLE LEFT TO GO BEFORE THE REPUBLIC FALLS. ROME IS BURNING.

There have been FAR too many instances recently that have been outright attacks on Civil Liberties. McCain-Feingold, SCOTUS should have leveled it, but didn't. Raich ruling, should have made a statement and brought the issue out into the open, make it less taboo. Kelo ruling, should have stood up for the citizen and his inalienable rights. None of this is any good.

To me, the writing is on the wall. Hell is making a run, straight at us, on the pale horse. It is only a matter of time.

Keep your head up and keep the powder dry.

Time to check the pantry shelves.

Geek, if you read this, thanks for mentioning the Rome thing. It REALLY gave me some perspective.
