Brilliant

The subject is generally about that idolized commie motherfucker, Che Guevara, and he has some good stuff over there about that, but regarding communism more generally, I found this:

"Marxian beliefs when realized afford the greatest tool of the tyrant that modern day man has known. In order to exercise enough power to control an economy to that degree you necessarily have the power to control the individuals within that economy & most people do not have the will power to resist using that control. Sure, they rationalize it; it's just to hasten the ideal state, etc... but they use it just the same. & to the same ends. Those ends are invariably the limitation & in some cases the extinction of personal freedom. Whether it's the main goal or just an unintended consequence is irrelevant." [my emphasis]

That is unquestionably true. It really makes me wonder why these commie hipsters seem to be so glib about the highly apparent failure of not only this physical construct of communism, but the idea as well. One would think that after repeated failures, along the lines of maybe making Job question his beliefs, one might start to make the connection of one to the other. Guess not.

They are so eager to impose the "correctness" of their views on the rest of society they eagerly accept a totalitarian State to achieve that end, convinced that they are special and can indeed withstand the temptations of total State power.
But they are already drugged by the corrupt temptation to power before they begin or they would not even start - and they cannot withstand it - all the historical evidence shows that the power annihilates them, it's really an infantile wish.

Yup. And the classes within the society are still there, whether the left would admit it or not, and the whole of it will be poorer, and a fine strata of the self-declared elite telling the rest of us what to do.

This sounds just like a book a read in high school. I think it was written by Orwell and had something to do with animals or something. [snark alert]

marxian is reserved for little green aliens with antennae

almostinfamous,

You are getting caught up in semantics, so don't try to pull that crap here, got it?

Take your drivel back to your hole.

semantics is not the same as spelling, though.

of course you'd probably say that this was semantics as well, but that's really nitpicking

Oh, just one more thing, almost, as if you hadn't noticed, I was quoting what someone else had written. I left it unedited, because, ya know, honesty is important to me.

Fuck off.
