Over the target

As the old saying goes, when you are receiving flak, you KNOW you are over the target.

It's time to PRESS HARDER.

Get Podesta.

Then go after Shrills.

Now.

Amazing

The family took a vacation on a lark back in April of '12 to the Sierras.

It was really something to see, as I'd never even stepped foot in California to that point in my life. The giant Sequoia forests are truly a humbling sight, as is the entire Yosemite valley.

I was unaware that John Muir had sent a seedling to Boise over 100 years ago until reading the story about its move, a mere four months ago. That fact that it's possible to move not only a mature tree, but one quite so massive is beyond amazing. And it's apparently doing fine.

H/T to Survivalblog for the linky.

The Unraveling continues

Couldn't help but notice this local story about civil tort that...went sideways.

Please note that a certain person's property was broken into by vagrants.

Note also that said person shot vagrants on said property, and that no criminal charges were even filed in that case.

Note that vagrant who was shot retained a lawyer and filed a civil suit over the loss of a leg during above mentioned altercation with said property owner.

It appears that said property owner lost that civil tort case and was having his property garnished when he lost his shit and took it out on the above mentioned lawyer.

Almost like some biker-gang shit or something.

Automotive Vignette No.7

Straight from the backyard, not two blocks from the office.

A late sixties/early seventies Citroën DS 21 convertible,

and then around the corner...

 ...a 1974-5 Bricklin SV-1.

This is what Communism begets

..but anyone who's paid attention to history already knows that.

When there is no incentive to produce, then quality suffers.

Things will get worse.

Sorry, I couldn't stop laughing at the "collusion," bit

Rub the snotty Libs' noses in this, whenever possible.

Right before you smash their faces in, that is.

Behold, the pale horseman is on the hoof, and there is no turning him back.

A prole, on full display, begging for his nanny

Sick.

Let's see:

  1. He doesn't like free financial markets, so he LIKES having his ability to earn, and his consumption managed for him. Sounds like Communism.
  2. He doesn't like a wide-open internet. So he ALSO doesn't like freedom of speech nor freedom of association, since, ya know, the Russians might come along and take away his favorite horse in the race he's betting on.
  3. Lastly, he doesn't like guns. At least not in the hands of his fellow proles. Those are for the POLICE and the POLICE ONLY!!!
Andy Serwer is a fucking pussy.

You mean, LIKE YOU, PIG?!?

Chrissy Murphy had something to say about Harv Weinstein's cozy association with high level Donkeycrats over the years;
“This is a pretty bad guy who did some really awful things,”
This, coming from a cretin who would just as soon throw you in jail because you own a piece of steel.

Fucking pig.

"...Prohibition is a jobs program for cops."

Key bit;
"...The recent massacres involving various madmen, big pharma patients and other human detritus have set the usual suspects into a flurry of activity to dust off the old prohibitionist bromides that have worked so well in the past like the banishment of alcohol, drugs, poverty and other such crusades that always exsanguinate the subject populations but enrich and expand the political class and its legions of constabulary.  Prohibition is a jobs program for cops."
Prohibition not only doesn't work as intended, it has a proven history of making the behavior/substance more prevalent, all the while making rich men of common thugs.

Do you see the pointlessness of Prohibitionist movements now?

Thank you, sir, for your music.

If this doesn't convince one to stay away from crowds...

Remus is proven correct again;
"...As always, observe Ol' Remus's Most Excellent and Inviolable Rule One For Survival: stay away from crowds.."
Good advice.

BTW, Matt Bracken was prescient on this one.

UPDATE: 10/3/17

Remus sez;
"About the massacre in Las Vegas, Karl Denninger says, at Market-Ticker:
 The process to obtain a legal machine gun is materially more stringent than the process to become a police officer. What we don't know at this point, of course, is whether said machine gun was legally purchased. It is quite likely that it was not—that it was either illegally converted (in which case all the background checks are worthless) or it was illegally sourced and acquired (in which case all the background checks are also worthless.)
... For the moment there are no conclusions that can reasonably be reached but that hasn't and won't stop those who wish to both pick your pocket and focus ever-more intrusive measures on people who have done exactly nothing wrong from exploiting this event for their own purposes.
The best defense against mass murder is to be somewhere else. To repeat Ol' Remus's Most Excellent Rule One:
                                               Stay away from crowds."
 Shocker.
