This is what every Democrat in the country wants

And is the same reason we have a right to self preservation.

The irony, of course, is that this man, Joshua Holt, A MORMON, would probably never lay his hands on a gun in the first place, let alone attempt to, how did the totalitarians put it, "stockpile weapons," or some similar horseshit.

And this story sounds PRECISELY like the Socialist/Commie "paradise," that every US Donkeycrat is just SURE we're "entitled" to here; gun-free with unicorns and rainbows from coast to coast.

Except that we've seen that shit before, and it's no paradise...just like Venezuela is NOW.

Every Democrat needs to FOAD!

Again, must be Fake News

The Libs wouldn't, you know, LIE about this sort of thing...would they?

Tell me again, why should I give up my firearms?

Not learning a damned thing

ANOTHER outbreak of Ebola in Africa.

Shut off physical contact until it burns itself out.

NO BOATS, NO TRAINS AND NO PLANES. In or especially OUT...or didn't you dipshits learn from the last time.

Liberal douchebag fuckheads

So, I walk in the office this morning and as is customary for me, I glance over at my physical mailbox. Usually, there is nothing in there that I haven't personally placed there for my own safe keeping or reference.

Today, there is a magazine, still in its plastic wrapper and mailing label affixed to it. Funny, I thought, so I approached and took a look. Yep. My name and all that jazz. Took a look at the title and recognized it straight away.

Metropolis.

I used to subscribe for a few years, back in the late 90's and into the Naughty's, but a series of missteps in the publishing content as well as overt politics within the editorials/articles left me wanting it gone, so I allowed it to lapse, feeling better about unloading that baggage.

Fast-forward to today, newly minted subscriber...SOMEHOW, and I was left with a bit of a hole in WHY I had just received it.

Customer service via the online address did little other than confirm another piece of information that was strange; my new subscription was paid up for the next 30 years. No shit, subscribed until April of 2048.

So I had to make a phone call (remember those?) and talk to a real person to get some better information.

My first question to the nice lady on the other end of the wire was HOW was I subscriber, as I didn't remember sending any money nor requests about a subscription in the first place? After a long hold and the attendant elevator music, her response was, "it's a complementary subscription..." to which she added this bit, "...I've never seen a complementary subscription that was quite so long, sir."

I told her that I'd reviewed the same thing online and she'd confirmed my suspicions, and that a free subscription for 30 years seemed quite excessive in my estimation. She agreed.

Then I told her to please cancel it.

Of note to me was reviewing their paper/hardcopy circulation numbers when searching for their website; 50,000. That's TOTAL circ, not just in NYC. In a CITY of 8,500,000 people alone, that's disturbingly low, even in this day and age of reading almost everything on your various fucking hand-held devices of every sort. Seems like they're attempting to brush their numbers in an attempt to make shit look better than it is.

Fuck 'em.

Too cheaply had

I noticed something when the cheaper digital cameras were starting to become the new thing to have among the proles, twenty years ago or so. The quality of photography, and my own as well, went to the shitter.

Then came the dreaded cell phone with the god-damned thing built right into it.

Can't stand the typical "smart phone," with their stupid fucking cameras that try to "think," for you, either.

Money quote;
"So it is with photography today. The camera can focus itself, choose the shutter speed and aperture, even do multiple exposures for high dynamic range. Today's photographer is commonly less capable than his equipment. The notion seems to be the digital camera is such a wonderfully advanced technological marvel it knows better than the user what the optimum result is. What a crock."
Except that for me, it's the other way around; the equipment, despite all of the bullshit "capabilities," is decidedly incapable, I find. Even following the fucking instructions, to a 'T,' in the dreaded manual reveals a byzantine process by which to instruct the fucking camera to focus (which it can't), on anything at all. Forget adjusting things like f-stops or bracketing or depth of field shots. It's quicker and easier on a manual focus film camera.

God-damned fucking "progress," my ass.

I suppose I'll have to look at the newer, and expensive, DSLR equipment that is out there.

Dead man, walking

Yes, for merely suggesting such. Do I need to even mention the reasons?

Another added to the list.

Here's a picture of the little bitch.

Image result for eric swalwell

Eric Swalwell.

A fucking congresscritter and attorney.

And fucking stupid as the day is long.

Chump.

UPDATE: Karl Denninger calls out this savage; I agree, he's demanding a Civil War.
