Honesty?

Like you'd know anything about that, Barry?

Wrong again, Barry

Production is the key to our economic success, not education.

Education is also something that the student is going to have to decide to achieve, all on their own, and make it their own priority, not yours, nor the governments'.

Fail, again.

Someone show this stupid motherfucker the door.

Fueling a nascent crisis

So, the other day, fellow Kansan, Mark B. and I were discussing how it might look if, considering the drought in Ukraine and crop failures in China were met with similar problems in the southern hemisphere, how that might turn the typically abundant and cheap world food supply completely on its ear, and the resulting economic hardships that would ensue.

That, in turn, could lead to some very bad things.

Turns out, it's happening right now.

Oh dear.

H/T to SurvivalBlog for the links.

Someone should take the shovel out of his hands

Wanna laugh?

Truly, the man is so stupid that he doesn't know when to stop, "admonishing" his fellow Donks over their "apathy."

I wonder why that might be, Barry?

His arrogance knows no bounds. So much so that he's willing, apparently, to bite the hands that have fed him for the last three years.

Keep it up, Barry. I certainly hope you choke on this.

Welcome to the new Stasi

I mean, as long as Congress passes a law and all, it's gotta be legal and righteous and stuff, right?

Will you be working for them?

This will end badly, BTW.

Close your eyes and cover your ears

I am to believe, if I listen to the "experts," that we've turned the corner on the recession, and that because inflation has re-entered the current economic landscape (for all the reasons I mention), we can well and truly put the idea of worldwide societal collapse behind us.

That is so much tripe.

This is why.

1.5 Billion Chinese. Scorched Earth (Mother Nature is a bitch, isn't she?) in Russia's breadbasket and China becoming a net grain importer, for the first time.

Raise your hand if you guessed that whole wars have been started over food shortages.

About the only good news that I can think of is that we have enormous swaths of extremely productive farm land in this country (Hell, within walking distance from my home) that lie fallow, and have for years, because farming became too hard to earn a living by, at various times in the past. For now, that seems to have reversed itself. Turning over the earth and planting a crop of wheat and corn might make you a millionaire in the near future.

Hmmmm.

While he's here, and we know his whereabouts,

can someone make their way over to Turtle Bay and squash the annoying bug that's making all the noise?

I'd be ever so appreciative.

Seems odd to me that he's talking about making an end to undemocratic regimes and denouncing capitalism while also blathering on about, " world leaders, thinkers and global reformers should "spare no effort" to make practical plans for a new world order," as the article suggests he said.

Someone needs to give that retard a remedial course or five on subjects such as economics, ethics, civics, reading, addition, subtraction, and the fucking alphabet.

Reruns of Sesame Street can be had for naught from PBS, I believe.

Who do you fools think you are joking?

Over?

We haven't seen the bottom of this mess yet, and I fear this country will end up as Japan has been for the last 20 years, plodding through things, with sky-high taxes, unemployment and near-zero growth (negative, in actual terms). They've also an aging, negative-growth population, a young workforce with little experience and almost no hope for their futures and China looking like the giant that they are, sitting right across the pond, with a possible grudge, but I digress.

I know a way to keep this shit from being a "pain," as it's being called, and it's definitely got that, "What would you do?" angle covered, Barry.

In simple terms; QUIT SPENDING MONEY YOU DON'T HAVE, YOU STUPID MOTHERFUCKER!!!

That is all.

Wanna know where your higher taxes are going?

A new Federal Bureau, for starters.

And it won't do jack for protecting anything, except it's own turf.

What odds would you have for these schmucks to get their own uniformed ninjas, complete with entry team(s) and their own fleet of vehicles by which to ferry around the stormtroopers?

Brings to mind a certain scene from a favorite movie, except the storming of the banks by the bandits with guns is going to be the Gummint in the dystopian future, it seems.

Correlation versus Causation

Morons, one and all.

By all means, read the whole thing, but what the supposed "experts" are reading into this is far more than what I'm seeing.

Relying on two basic, and unrelated, variables to make broad interpretations of this situation is beyond bizarre. The wholesale price index, considering such factors as the drastically rising price of wheat, due to shortages in supply (NOT increased demand), or the recent spike in pork belly prices, could be easily explained, and is not necessarily indicative of a strengthening job market, with more people having more money to spend (the demand side, again), despite the supposed "drop" in unemployment rates (a manipulated number, regardless).

This is all right out in the open, for all to see, and it's surprising that these fucking "professional" economists can't see the forest for the trees, as it were.

Of course, most Leftists would dismiss my explanation as being nothing more than tripe from a simpleton Mid-Westerner, which, considering the source, is a pretty good complement.

Who cares?

He's not the President of any country over there, and I really couldn't care who is the PM or President of any of the EU countries, because I'm not a citizen of the EU.

The EuroWeenies need to STFU and mind their own business.

I have but one comment on this situation;

The cunt needs to be bitch-slapped, publicly.

Hey, Kathy, do you think that comment threatening?

I don't give a fuck, even if you do, so go to Hell.

And I'm to believe that more regulation is needed to solve this?

So, a few weeks ago, we all heard about a big, corporate farming concern in Iowa that was sending out salmonella-tainted eggs to a third of the country.

We then heard the cries from the usual sources about how we need tighter regulation from the USDA on this sort of thing.

Turns out, they knew about it all along.

Also, right there in the opening paragraph, an odd statement;
"U.S. Department of Agriculture experts knew about sanitary problems at one of the two Iowa farms at the center of a massive nationwide egg recall, but did not notify health authorities..."
Tell me then, who are these health authorities, if not the USDA themselves? I mean, presumably, that's why they are there, am I right? Do they need to consult some state health agency before blowing a fucking whistle, or something?

So, what are we supposed to do about this, hire even more finger-pointers to sit around and act like they are doing something to "protect" the public from food-born pathogens?

Unfortunately, that's probably what we have to look forward to.

Mental midget

I had to stop when I read the following bit;
"Jeffrey Goldberg, a national correspondent for The Atlantic magazine, asked if Cuba's economic system was still worth exporting to other countries,"
Please tell me that there aren't people walking around, thinking of communism in such terms.

Lie to me if you have to.

Surprisingly, Fidel beats everyone to the punch, essentially, denouncing his life's work;
"The Cuban model doesn't even work for us anymore,"
after 50 years of ration books, no property rights, no political rights, zero wealth creation and his people largely living in (at least it's FREE!) squalor with oppression by the political class, ad nauseam, I think he's finally come to an understanding of the wayward, authoritarian bullshit that is communism.

I think it's also telling that Raul, now largely considered the ruling head of the country, has supposedly told the citizens that they should, "expect less from the government."

If I were them, I'd consider that to be a serious improvement.

It would seem to me that as Cuba is beginning to see the light, we have a committed class of quisling traitors, willing to "import" all of that communism they can possibly get their fucking hands on.

Fucking amazing.

Barry, you're an imbecile,

And on a whole order of magnitude higher than Bush, the Lesser, ever was.

Just love that quote about the Republicans supposedly advocating policies that, "led to this mess in the first place."

If you must know, Barry, your tax and spend-even-more, while creating funny-money through the abuse of the Federal Reserve, roughly doubling the money supply in the last two years, is FAR worse for the economy than anything Dubya ever did. That's just economic suicide, dipshit.

Go fuck yourself, you moronic boob.

How the FUCK, ANY of you GOD-DAMNED MORONS voted for that narcissistic, simpleton bastard, I'll never know.

Gimme a break

Headline;
"Outgunned FDA tries to get tough with drug ads"
This makes it sound as if the FDA is under some sort of manned assualt, and that we proles should feel sorry for them, arm them all with shiny copper badges and hand them AR-15 rifles and let them "clean house," or some other rot.

Seriously, you morons in the MSM can NOT die quickly enough for my tastes.

All of you.

"How Barack Obama Became Mr. Unpopular"

Because he's as dumb as a bag of hammers?

He's pushed an agenda, and gotten a good deal of what he's wanted, by having a complicit and majority filled Congress?

I mean really, who can't see that?

Can you smell that?

Things are getting more serious by the day, folks.

Do you understand what the widest possible ramifications of this sort of dictatorial behaviour might entail?

Labels: , , , ,

How about a baseball bat across the melon, then?

It'd be about the same effect, and I, for one, would openly welcome that as retribution (yes, I said it) against these monsters in uniform, who stood zero threat from an aging man in his own home.

Oh, and I watched the footage on the idiot box, just now, and Mr.McFarland wasn't resisting, AT ALL, after being tased by that coward.

Anyone, including a judge or jury who says otherwise, needs to be beaten, severely.

I'm volunteering services.

Fuck this fucking god-damned country.
